President & G.O.P. Radio
Saturday July 31, 2010
Every Saturday get the latest President and GOP radio address to the nation.
This week President Obama used his weekly address to hail the comeback of the U.S. auto industry. He touted "good decisions" in Washington and sacrifices by auto industry workers. Obama also criticized Republicans who were skeptical about auto industry bailouts, referring to them as the "just say no crowd."
Meanwhile... Republicans are questioning President Obama over jobs. Delivering the GOP's weekly address Saturday, Nebraska Republican Senator Mike Johanns, had a question for the President. He asked, quote, "Isn't it time, Mr. President, to tone down the rhetoric and to govern?" Johanns continued admonishing Obama saying the President talks about creating jobs, but his policies just do the opposite, with a, quote, "fiercely anti-business tone."

American Airlines was ready for take-off as veterans aboard the plane for the Old Glory Honor Flight Thursday from the EAA grounds. Its purpose was to fly 80 World War II veterans from Oshkosh to Washington, D.C., to visit the World War II Memorial, a place they might otherwise never see. The memorial was built in their honor, so it is fitting that these members of the "the greatest generation" visit it.
